1. Deputy Director Marketing (Lagos) Ref :TM/01/REC/05/10
This role requires a dynamic, innovative and experienced individual to assist the Director of Marketing and Sales. Ideal candidate is an experienced media sales leader with focus on achievement, creativity, employee engagement and solutions to lead a team of media sales executives and management to exceed share of the market and billing goals.
The Deputy Director is ultimately responsible for revenue generation, budgeting and forecasting; pricing and control; strategies/policies; administration of all sales and marketing functions with the overall goal of achieving and exceeding competitive market share.
Top candidates will have a proven track record of overcoming obstacles, achieving goals, engaging a diverse team of media sales professionals and the ability to accurately forecast and budget revenues.
Must possess good knowledge of Newspaper circulation and introduce new ways of enhancing the traditional newspaper distribution method.
Skills & Requirements:
At least 10 years solid experience in the media industry particularly print media
Have a minimum of 5 years senior management experience with sales accountability
Must possess good experience of Newspaper circulation
Possess excellent managerial and leadership skills with good planning and organisation skills and ability to motivate people
2. Head Advert Sales (Lagos) Ref: TM/02/REC/05/10
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, sales-oriented, outgoing individual who will drive the Advert Sales Section. Sales responsibilities include print, classified and online as well as multi-media, niche products and commercial printing. Our successful candidate will have a stellar track record in identifying and executing innovative sales ideas, effectively managing performance, mentoring and motivating employees, and understanding and meeting customers' needs.
The Head of Advertising Sales is instrumental in defining strategic direction of the section while actively engaging all members of the sales team in achieving goals.
Skills & Requirements:
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum five years of progressive management experience in newspapers or a related industry.
A history of driving sales results, recruiting and nurturing talent, as well as developing and motivating our retail classified section.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, experience with planning and budgeting processes, strong inspection skills, ability to delegate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment required.

3. Head, Sales (Lagos) Ref: TM/03/REC/05/10
The role requires a dynamic, proactive individual who will be responsible for promoting and increasing sales and circulation of the Next brands. Oversee the entire circulation, direct sales and subscription processes.
Effectively work with a network of drivers, retailers, marketing and public relations professionals, to ensure that all products are circulated in a timely fashion, coinciding with any marketing, advertising or promotional activities that may be related to it.
Steady increasing the subscription base of the brand by devising and implementing various promotional activities.
Skills and Requirements:
The candidate must be a self-starter. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure role. Must be able to thrive within a deadline-driven environment. Additionally, as with all sales jobs, success is monitored by numbers.
The person in this role must be able to consistently meet and surpass quotas. Creativity in developing new sales strategies is also important, as are interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others in order to get the job done.

The role reports into and assist the Manager Advert Sales. The successful candidate must have a stellar track record in identifying and executing Online Advertising sales, effectively managing performance, mentoring and motivating employees, and understanding and Online meeting customers' needs.

Our successful candidate will have a stellar record of accomplishment in identifying and executing innovative supplement Advert ideas, effectively managing performance, mentoring and motivating employees, and understanding and meeting customers' needs.
The supplement Manager is instrumental in defining strategic direction of the section while actively engaging team members in achieving goals.

The primary function of the Subscription Manager drive and develop the subscription sales approach of the brand. The ideal must posses knowledge of subscription process, from activating new subscribers to maintaining a subscriber database, ensuring on-time deliveries, and deactivation.
Skills and requirements:
Extensive and proven track record in subscription sales across print and digital media.
Ability to initiate and maintain solid client relationships.
Superb communication skills, both written and verbal and potent presentation techniques.
Possess a natural aptitude and desire to run a small sales team, leading by example and ensuring the attainment of goals for you and your team.
Excel in negotiation skills and the achievement of meeting deadlines.
7. Senior Advert Executives (Lagos and Abuja) Ref: TM/07/REC/05/10
The primary function is to sell advertising in print and online. Maximising all revenue streams by identifying key trends and opportunity in the market. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing Business from regular clients as well as seeking new business and clients.
Skills and Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess the following
Must have at least 2 years media sales experience
Must be presentable, self motivated, enthusiastic and have an excellent telephone manner
A desire to succeed and progress in a fast-paced and challenging sales environment
Must have a great personality and be a good communicator
8. Advert Executives ( Lagos and Abuja) Ref: TM/08/REC/05/10
Primarily print and online advert sales, the role will suit someone results driven, self motivated and confident in their approach. You will be disciplined, enthusiastic and able to work to targets and deadlines. You will be responsible for managing client relationships and creating avenue for business development.
Skills and Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess the following
Must have at least 6 months media sales experience. Must possess the drive to succeed and have a competitive nature.
Must be presentable, enthusiastic and have an excellent telephone manner
A desire to succeed and progress in a fast-paced and challenging sales environment
Must have a great personality and be a good communicator
